The summer of 2007 Firefighter Knightly (also known as RedNeck) of Brookline, NH, a former officer of the Gate City Hog Chapter was looking for something better.  A friend Chris was a member of Fire & Iron MC Station 28 got RedNeck into contact with Jerry the Prez of Station 28.  With the Help of Chris, Jerry, and Mike Moss, RedNeck was able to start an new station for Fire & Iron MC.  The old Brookline Fire station number was 86 until the state renumbered all the fire houses.  It seemed fitting for RedNeck to name the station, Station 86.  Late summer of 2007 Station 86 was born.  With a couple months of promoting the new club the first meeting was held on Nov 11th 2007.  Members of Brookline fire, Hollis fire, and some members of Station 343 attended the meeting.  When the dust settled, with the support of Station 343, that night the first 6 member saw that it could be something great.  Paul, Nick, Dave, Brian of Brookline fire and Dave of Hollis fire became Fire & Iron MC Station 86.  The Maltese cross with cross axes and skull became their station logo. From there they began to grow picking up more members from the Hollis fire dept, Mont Vernon fire, a retired Lynn fire, and Weare fire dept.  After a couple of years they ended up losing half their members do to lack of quality. Quality is always better than quantity, but with the members we did not bail and ended up growing the club into something better. In late 2011 Redneck was at a house party with a friend Brad playing a game called stump. From then on RedNeck introduced stump to Fire & Iron, throughout Region 6 stump is played. At that point station 86 became known as the Backwoods Crew.  Station 86 challenge coin was the first Maltese cross shaped coin.  In the start of 2019 86 has 24 members strong and continues to grow
